Prada hosted its first ever stand-alone cruise collection show yesterday, and while it's called cruise, we're thinking you could sub in the word "festival" instead. That's ok, designer Miuccia Prada isn't a fan of labels either— she told The New York Times: “I don’t like the word cruise, or resort, or any of these types of descriptions.”
Whatever you want to call it, the pastel-hued collection drew inspiration from its setting at the Fondazione Prada Osservatorio in Milan's stunning Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, one of the world's oldest shopping malls. There were so many details that could translate to your summer aesthetic, from a brilliant lipstick hue to a surprising take on designer sneakers. Surely Prada showgoers like Courtney Love took notes.
